Ethel Boyles Stone

Mrs. Ethel Sarah Boyles Stone, 93, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at Universal Health Care in King. She was born in Stokes Co. on November 23, 1919 the daughter of the late Dock Hillary Boyles and Lillie S. Gordon Boyles. Mrs. Stone was a beautician and a homemaker. She loved to travel, in her travels she visited many places including Russia and she especially enjoyed visiting Canada. She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were own children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis M. Stone and her four loving sisters, Rada B. Tucker, Maude B. Gordon, Bessie G. Venable and Bert B. Sheppard. Mrs. Stone is survived by her nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church in Pinnacle with Elder Rodney Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 this evening, Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church.
