Ethel Venable McBryde

Clemmons- Ethel Venable McBryde, 91, died November 26, 2010, at Clemmons Nursing & Rehab. She was born on February 22, 1919 in Surry County to the late Maurice and Hessie Lynch Venable. In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice H. McBryde. Surviving are her son, Larry M. McBryde, of Kernersville; two grandsons, Jaret M. McBryde, and wife, Tatum, of Kernersville, and William ""Rusty"" McBryde, of Harrisburg; two sisters, Pauline Chrismon, of Brown Summit and Dorothy Chilton, of Reidsville. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Michael Gianopolis officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, prior to the service at the funeral home.
