Mrs. Ethel May Hodges, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born August 23, 1932 in Watertown, NY to Lloyd and Lydia Rexford. Mrs. Hodges was a lover of animals, plants, arts/crafts and enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling with her husband. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Rexford. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Talmadge L. Hodges, two daughters; Karen Pitts of Advance and Bonnie Spears and husband Denvil of Clemmons, two sons; Craig Hodges and Terry Hodges and his wife Vickie. She also leaves behind her sister; Julia Human, a brother; Harvey Rexford, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. A family graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Crestview Memorial Park Mausoleum in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to; The Alzheimer's Association.
