Ethel Foster Taylor Green, 83, of Winston-Salem, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice home. She was born December 15, 1926 in Yadkin County to George and Cora Foster. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 48 years, Ralph C. Taylor; husband of 6 years, James R. Green; and siblings Velma Foster, Mary Ellen Anderson, Mozelle Hall, and William Foster. She is survived by brothers, Leo Foster and G.K. Foster (Margaret); children, Doug Taylor, Roger Taylor (Sharon) and Rita Crawford (David); grandsons (who were the light of her life), Gray Taylor, Drew Taylor, and Coleman Crawford; Jim Green's children, Kevin, Donna, and Richard, all of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. She raised her family and lived most of her life in Clemmons. She was a member of Clemmons United Methodist Church for over 70 years and was active in the ministries of the church as long as her health allowed. A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at 2:00pm at Clemmons United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chris Thore and the Rev. Mark Portis officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway. Memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., W-S, NC 27103 or to Clemmons United Methodist Church, 3700 Clemmons Rd., Clemmons, NC 27012. The family wants to thank Kate B.
