Mrs. Esta Nicholson Tuttle, age 79 of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Esta was born in Wilkes County, August 21, 1936 to Robert and Rosalie McBride Nicholson. She was a very loving wife, mama and memaw. She loved helping in raising all five of her grandchildren and was very blessed in being able to do so. Esta was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wayne Tuttle of the home. Three daughters; Pam (Bruce) Casey of Winston-Salem, Robin (Ronnie) Martin of Rural Hall and Susan (Kenneth) Culler of Tobaccoville. Five grandchildren; Gary Leake, Alvin (Morgan) Owens, Stephen (Christine) Smith, Dale (Anna) Martin, and Stephanie (Chad) Brinkley. Two great-grandchildren; Reese and Tabor Brinkley. Two sisters; Mary (Rick) Smith and Patricia (Frankie) Priddy. Two brothers; David and Dennis Rash. Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Rev. Mack Warren and Rev. Darrell Fulp. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall Monday evening, September 14th from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
