Ernestine Fallin Haynes

Mrs. Ernestine Fallin Haynes, 75, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 9, 2015. She was born on October 7, 1939 in Surry Co. the daughter of the late Walter Fallin and Zeula Weddle Fallin. Mrs. Haynes was a faithful member of Calvary Temple Church in Winston-Salem and retired from Sara Lee with 30 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to read. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herman Haynes, four sisters; Mozolla Moxley, Mozelle Gosnell, Marie Snow and Flora Etta Fallin and five brothers; Norman Fallin, Edward Fallin, Frank Fallin, Jack Fallin and Wayne Fallin. She is survived by a daughter; Pamela Haynes Linnens and husband Brent of Germanton, a step-son; Mike Haynes and wife Tempie of Lewisville, four grandchildren; Sydney Linnens, Heather Thomas (Jason), Joseph Linnens and Adam Haynes, a great-granddaughter; Jordan Haynes and five sisters; Agnes Bowman, Ina Mae Dillard, Brenda Dymott, Fern Martin and Lorene Wiseman. Mrs. Haynes is also survived by a special sister-in-law; Joanne Fallin and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Pastor Mike Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 prior to the service Sunday evening at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2015 at Skyline Memory Gardens in Mt. Airy.
