Mrs. Ernestine Brown Bryant, 66, died at her home early Friday morning, July 16, 2010. She was born August 3, 1943 in Forsyth County to Ernest William Brown and Celia Jane Curry Brown. Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, Paula Diane Bryant; a brother, Luther George Brown; and three sisters, Shirleen B. Autry, Margaret B. McCuiston and Geraldine B. Harpe. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ronald Lawrence ""Larry"" Bryant; three daughters, Anita B. Bray (Richard) of Walnut Cove, Dawn B. Hall (Kenny) of Walnut Cove and Wendy B. Martin (fiancé© Ronnie) of Rural Hall; one son, Ronald A. ""Tony"" Bryant (Stacey) of Rural Hall. She also left behind six grandchildren; Josh and Logan Bray, Jordan and Taylor Hall, Lukas Martin and Morgan Bryant; two step-grandchildren; Madison and Cole Abbott; one brother, Winfred B. Brown (Muriel) of Charlotte; one sister, Sonya B. Tutterow (David) of Winston-Salem and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in celebration of her life from 6-8 this evening July 17, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to; St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
