Ermioni Kakouris Skordas

Mrs. Ermioni Kakouris Skordas, 87, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at her residence. Mrs. Skordas was born in Korinth, Greece on September 14, 1928 to George and Christina Kakouris. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Skordas was preceded in death by two brothers, Thanasi and Souli; and one sister, Vasso. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Apostolos ""Paul"" Skordas; her son, Jimmy Skordas and wife Maria of Winston-Salem; her daughter, Loula Tsiolkas of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Helen Margarita Tsiolkas and Margarita Emma Skordas; two sisters, Margarita Mantzikos of Greece and Soula Mitsoulis of Charlotte; and one brother, Spiros Kakouris of Greece. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Father Demetri Kangelaris officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.
