Mrs. Erma O'Hara Cline, 95, of Clemmons passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born December 3, 1914 in Forsyth County to the late Howard O. and Hessie Smith Cline. She was a member of Community United Church of Christ and was retired from Bowman Gray School of Medicine after 25 years of service. Erma also volunteered at Clemmons library. She is preceded in death by husband Charlie S. Cline (April 1992), sister Ruth C. Hill and brother H. O. Cline Jr. Surviving are a daughter Karen C. Griffin and husband, Norris of Clemmons; grandson Eric K. Griffin and wife Kimberly of Greensboro; brother Rex Cline and wife Vallie of Pfafftown; sister Wilma Dane Hill of Pfafftown; and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday February 23, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. Patrick Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Pfafftown Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
