Eric Rieger

Mr. Eric Geoffrey Rieger, 37 of Raleigh, NC died suddenly of natural causes Friday, March 23, 2018. He was born November 18, 1980 in Canton, Ohio to Kirk and Cindy Rieger. Mr. Rieger has resided in the Raleigh area since 1999, was a graduate of West Forsyth High School and received his Bachelor's degree in management from North Carolina State University where he was in the TKE fraternity. Eric loved family celebrations, playing and watching sports, landscaping, cooking and learning his family's history.
He is survived by his parents; three siblings, Todd (Mary) of Clemmons, Adam of Lewisville, and Lisa Carbone (Sara) of Cary, NC; his grandmother Barbara Johnson of Hendersonville; two nephews, Grant and Jackson and one niece, Grace, all of Clemmons; aunts Cheryl Rice of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Karen White of Roswell, Georgia, and Mindy Doutt of Columbus, Ohio; uncles Peck White of Roswell and Craig Johnson of Columbus.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Lewisville United Methodist Church by Rev. Dr. Ivan Peden. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Eric's church, checks should be payable to: Lewisville United Methodist Church. Please put "Youth Fund" on the Memo line.
