Mrs. Emma Margaret Banister Wright, 91, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Oaks at Forsyth. Mrs. Banister was born in Hart County, GA on July 18, 1919 to James Claude and Emma Reynolds Banister. She was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church and retired from Royal Cake Company with over 39 years. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman Lee Wright; a son, Jimmy Wright; and a sister Gene Buccanon. She is survived by a sister Frances Southern of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren, Pam Deaton of High Point, Debbie Feld and Christy Mayer of Winston-Salem and Jimmy Wright, Jr of Wilmington, a daughter-in-law, Barbara Wright of Winston-Salem; seven great-grandchildren; two nieces; two nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek with Rev. Drew Southern officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.
