Emma Jean Colley Wilson

Kernersville – Emma J. Wilson, 88, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at her home. She was born on April 20, 1936, in Forsyth County to the late Glenn Wesley and Arizona Martin Colley. Emma was raised by her mother. Emma was known as a wonderful wife, the best mom, and loved her grandchildren. She was a wonderful mom and adored her husband so much.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a son, Keith Benford Wilson; two brothers, Jack and Delmer Colley; and her husband, Kenneth B. Wilson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Dorinda Hemric (Mike), Rhonda Duggins (Gary), and Tim Wilson; her loving sister, Patricia “Pat” Miller; six grandchildren, Chris East, Brandon Duggins, Shaylin Wilson, Shannon Bunker, Ayla Wilson, and Cheyanne Wilson; and some great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

There will be no formal services. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
