Emma Brooks Edwards

Emma Brooks Edwards entered heaven and into the loving arms of her Great grandma Frannie Annie on July 11, 2023, surrounded by those that love her most. Emma was 10 years old and battled "The imposter", Leukemia, for 16 mos. Emma, our little unicorn, was born April 22, 2013 to adoring parents and three older siblings, completing the Edwards family. She loved arts and crafts, practical jokes, her family and friends, Jesus, and her newly wed “husband,” DJ. Emma was a light to all who loved her and an inspiration to all she met. She was absolutely the best daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, aunt, “wife,” lol and friend. Her legacy is one of strength, humor, and limitless love for all people.

 

Emma is survived by her loving parents Aaron and Alina Edwards, her siblings Hailee Edwards Reber, Aaron Edwards Jr., and Michael Edwards, grandparents Sandy and Greg Gutzman and Cheryl McGee, nephew Eivor Reber, “husband” DJ Williams, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and precious friends. Emma was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Frances “Frannie Annie” Holt. We just know they're already cutting up in heaven, those silly girls. 

 

Emma’s Celebration of life & visitation will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Sunday July 16th, from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. Emma asked for everyone to wear BRIGHT fun COLORS, "No BLACK boring colors. It should be like a party!"- Emma. 💜 We will love you forever sweet girl.
