Mrs. Eloise Tedder King, 92, went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Winston-Salem Health and Rehabilitation. She was born May 9, 1924 in Stokes County the daughter of Everette and Beulah Covington Tedder. She lived mostly in Winston-Salem, where she was a hairdresser for many years. She was also a member of Amity Baptist Church, Wallburg, NC. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Burton Tedder. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Dalton W. King of the home; four children, Bill Snow, Donald Snow (Vickie), Richard Harris and Roger Harris; two step-daughters, Charlie King and Patty Joyner (Darrell); two brothers, James Tedder and Bill Tedder (Gerry); a sister, Betty Gordon; eight grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Monday, March 20, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Ron Haines officiating. Entombment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM Sunday, March 19,, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Amity Baptist Church, P.O. Box 7.
