Elner Westbrook Holloman

Mrs. Elner Westbrook Holloman, 96, passed away August 9, 2015 at Trinity Elms in Clemmons. She was born June 3, 1919 in Duplin County, NC to the late James Westbrook and Ella Rose Blalock Westbrook. She was a member of First Christian Church and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 154 Goldsboro and the White Shrine of Jerusalem- Camel Shrine #5. She volunteered for many years with Meals on Wheels. Mrs. Holloman was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert L. Holloman and two brothers, Johnny and Edward Westbrook. She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Rockett and husband Brent and Lynda Smith and husband Ted; three grandchildren, Matthew Smith, William Smith, and Miranda Smith and fiancée Bailey Porter; a sister-in-law, Hazel Westbrook. A funeral service will be held at 4:00pm Thursday, August 13, 2015 at First Christian Church with the Rev. Ryan Thrasher officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, August 14, 2015 at Oak Ridge Memorial Cemetery in Pink Hill, NC.
