Elmer Aaron Fulp

Mr. Elmer Aaron Fulp, 87, of Walkertown passed away on March the 1st, 2016 at Novant Healthcare in Kernersville, NC. Mr Fulp was born on August the 31st, 1928 in Forsyth Co. to Aaron and Bunah Whitley Fulp. He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church for many years. He retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company with 38 years of loyal service. He loved working in his vegetable garden, enjoyed watching his granddaughter playing softball and was an avid NASCAR fan who enjoyed pulling for Kevin Harvick. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Mary Alice Fulp, daughter Diane Fulp and brother Richard Fulp. He is survived by one daughter Lisa Smith and husband Mark of Lexington, two grandchildren Ryan Smith of Boone and Amanda Smith of Lexington, two nephews Michael and Ricky Jr. Fulp. A graveside service will be conducted Friday 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Gardens of Memory, Walkertown with Rev. Frank Shumate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday March 3, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
