Ellard Earl Farmer

Mr. Ellard Earl Farmer, 82, passed away November 7, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Fanning County, GA to the late Claude and Catherine Wilson Farmer. Mr. Farmer retired from Western Electric with 34 years of service. After his retirement, he enjoyed working in his body shop and garden. He loved his horses and cows and being with his grandchildren. Mr. Farmer is survived by his loving wife, Clara Farmer; a daughter, Pamela K. Farmer; two sons, Mike Farmer (Janice) and Randy Farmer (Christine); three grandchildren, Timothy Chad Johnson, Natalie Nicole Johnson, and Brandon Joseph Farmer; a brother, Fred Farmer and four nieces. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Egbert Craven, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
