Ella Bryant Adams

Mrs. Ella Bryant Adams, 77, of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born January 13, 1935 in Yadkin County to the late Rayford Salmons and Ina Rose Bryant. Ella was retired from Western Electric with 35 years of service. She was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Bryant. Surviving are her husband, Charles F. Adams (Charlie); two sons, Jeff Weatherman (Debbie) and Derek Adams (Melissa); four grandchildren, Angie Sexton, Kim Vines, Julie Adams and T.W. Adams; two great grandchildren, Madison and Jacob Vines; and three stepchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Jon Bowman officiating. Entombment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Hospice for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103, Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church, 430 Weisner Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127, or Peace Haven Baptist Church, 2200 Booger Swamp Rd., Yadkinville, NC 27055.
