Elizabeth "Libbi" Stroud

Mrs. Elizabeth “Libbi” Cline Stroud, 60, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the SECU Hospice Center in Yadkinville.  She was born on February 22, 1958 in Cabarrus County to the late James and Louise Mills Cline.  Mrs. Stroud was a veteran of the U.S. Army and later worked as a Respiratory Therapist at WFBMC.  She loved all kinds of flowers, especially orchids and listening to all types of music.  Mrs. Stroud was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Preceding her in death was a brother, Smith Owen Cline.  Surviving is her husband of 27 years, Jim Stroud; son, Dave Stroud (Megan); daughter, Vickie Dean (Nolan); two grandchildren, Kadence Stroud and Foster Stroud; brother, James Cline, Jr.; sister, Mary Cave (Darrell); two special nephews, James Cline, III and Harry Stroud, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; five special friends, Kathy Axely, Carol Myers, Pennie Hobson, Mary Shumate, and Tempi Hildebrandt; also surviving is her furry friend, Sasha.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Chaplain Mark Brown officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane Suite 200 Mount Airy, NC 27030 or to the American Lung Association, 401 Hawthorne Lane, Suite 110 #298 Charlotte, NC 28204.
