Elizabeth Marie Westberry

Miss Elizabeth Marie Westberry, 8, was a healing miracle sent to our family. In her short time on Earth, she brought together many people through her love and bright spirit. The body that she lived in, while on Earth was broken but her spirit was strong. The impact she has made on so many will remain in her honor forever. She loved her family, friends and her loyal doggies. Elizabeth loved to be around people and play games. She never complained about the life she was given, instead found joy and happiness in the midst of illness. Elizabeth physically fought until the last moments with us. ""Fly high Sweet Girl! You are loved and missed."" Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, George and Lisa Westberry, her brother, Christopher D. Westberry, her cousin, Jeff Powell Jr., paternal grandmother, Deloris Gallagher, her maternal grandparents, Ed and Joyce Scannell, special friends, Emma Layman and Carson and Lane Birchfield. Elizabeth is also survived by a host of Aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Germanton Baptist Church in Germanton with Rev. Justin Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 7, 2010from 11:00-2:00 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
