WINSTON SALEM – Mrs. Elizabeth Marie Isley Vogler, 36, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her home. Elizabeth was born on April 2, 1985 in Forsyth County to James William Isley and Cindy Whitlock Beamer. She was a loving wife, a caring mother, a devoted and beloved daughter, and a good friend to many. Elizabeth was strong and independent, very mindful of her appearance and had the most beautiful green eyes that stood out from others. She was a wonderful cook. But not the best baker. She had her daughter, Amara, do the baking. Her meals were “out of this world amazing”. She loved her calla lilies and gardening. Elizabeth was a self-proclaimed hairstylist and very good at cutting hair, even though she had no experience. Always watching the television show, “Monsters Inside Me”, she would say, “Miles, you better wear your shoes!” She loved her family and had a giving heart, unselfishly sharing her time with anyone who needed help. Elizabeth also had a love for animals, especially her two dogs, Ruby and Emma. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, but her favorite pastime was spending time at the beach.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Emma & Dale Vaughn; her maternal grandfather, Thomas Sloan Whitlock; and a great grandmother, Viola “Nanny” Sloan Whitlock
Surviving are her husband, Marty Vogler; four children, Amara, Miley, Jase, and Landon; her father, James Isley (Maria Barringer); her mother, Cindy Whitlock Beamer; her stepfather, Bob Kohut; brothers, Cliff Kohut (Hannah), Jacob Beamer, Michael Beamer (Pita); a sister, Chelsea Beamer (Troy) her grandfather, Jim Isley; two aunts, Michelle Vaughn Beck, and Sandy Whitlock McDougal; nieces and nephews, Andrew and Emma Kohut, Micah and Oliver Beamer, Scarlett Harsey, and Mia Torres; and a cousin, Alexandria Newman (Spenser).
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Coppley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:30 PM prior to the service at the church. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
