Elizabeth Tincher

Mrs. Elizabeth Hauser Tincher, 80, passed away at her home on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017. Elizabeth was born on Sept. 3, 1937 to Fred Jennings Hauser and Bessie Hauser in Forsyth County. She graduated from Southwest High School and was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. Elizabeth was employed by Wachovia Bank, retiring with 19 years of service. Her servant's heart was evidenced by 50 years of teaching Sunday School to young children, her VBS involvement, and her many years as a G.A. leader. Elizabeth will always be remembered as a great example of unconditional love. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by sisters, Elaine H. Penland and Freda H. Ayscue; as well as a brother, James Hauser. Surviving are her husband, James Ervin Tincher; son, H. Allen Miller (Mary Ann) of Greensboro; and daughters, Cathy "Cat" Noe (Marty) of Greensboro, Greta Bruce (Johnny) of Taylorsville, and Beth Mann (Fred) of East Bend; step-son, Rango Tincher of Randleman; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and extended family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 at Union Hill Baptist Church with Hospice Chaplain Mark Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek. The family offers special thanks for the phenomenal care received from Mountain Valley Hospice, particularly our cousin, Katrina McDowell, Ashley Cain, Penny Hudson Boyd and Mark Brown.
