Elizabeth Flynn Snow

WINSTON-SALEM-Mrs. Elizabeth Flynn Snow, 54, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at her residence. Elizabeth was born on January 6, 1960 in Forsyth County, adopted daughter of Hubert Lanier Flynn and Aldine Webb Flynn. She was a graduate of Kernersville Wesleyan Academy. Following high school, Elizabeth attended Davidson County Community College and received an Associate's Degree in Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and owner of Registered Nurse Reassurance, Inc. Elizabeth was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Snow is survived by a daughter, Anne E. Snow of Huntersville, NC; a son, Robert K. Snow, Jr. (Lauren) of Lexington, NC; two grandchildren, Hunter and Ava; a brother, Dr. Charles Flynn (Lisa) of Lexington, NC; husband, Gary Newman of Denver, CO and her aunt, Ann Ipock (Carl) of Macclesfield, NC. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, 90 Park Ave., 16th Floor, New York, NY 10016.
