Elizabeth Warner Smith

Mrs. Elizabeth Smith age 84 of Advance died Sunday, August 30, 2009. She was born February 9, 1925 in Forsyth County to the late Edward and Ida Cody Warner. Mrs. Smith had retired from R J Reynolds Tobacco Company with 37 years of service and was a member of Green Meadows Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Larry Lee Smith, Sr. of the home and Jerry Wayne Smith and wife Margaret of Mocksville; four grandchildren, Angela Shuping, Amy Anderson, Lee Smith and Michael Smith; nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Minnie Bean, Annie Flowers both of Winston-Salem and Charlotte Blackburn of Kernersville and two brothers, Robert Warner of Yadkinville and Edward Warner of East Bend. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Green Meadows Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Michael Waters. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Memorials may be made to Green Meadows Baptist Church, 1646 NC Hwy 801 N. Mocksville, NC 27028.
