Elizabeth Winterberg Scott

Mrs. Elizabeth Winterberg Scott, 65, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born November 17, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA to the late William Henry and Elizabeth Mansdoerfer Winterberg. She was an accomplished pianist and organist. Mrs. Scott was a school teacher for seven years in the Philadelphia School System and 23 years at the Rift Valley Academy in Kenya, East Africa. Preceding her in death was a sister, Marilyn McGraw. Surviving is her husband, T. Gordon Scott; sister, Cheryl Robinson (Paul) of Cinnaminson, New Jersey; one niece, Elizabeth Steele and three nephews, Daniel and David Robinson and Matthew McGraw. A funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Twin City Baptist Church with Pastor Carey Hardy officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.
