Elizabeth Sapp

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann White Sapp, 88, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 after an extended illness.  She was born May 16, 1932 in Stokes County to the late Kerman Roosevelt White and Alice Bolejack White.  Elizabeth retired from R.J. Reynolds after many years service. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and sewing.  She was an avid sports enthusiast, especially Carolina basketball.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years in August of 2020, Charles Homer Sapp.  She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Anne Weathersbee and Pamela Sapp; granddaughter, Beth Hetrick (Chad). A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Robert Lattimore officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the memorial park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of choice.  Elizabeth’s family will be forever grateful for the love and care given by the staff at Brighton Gardens.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
