Elizabeth Parrish Myers

Ms. Elizabeth Parrish Myers, 81, passed away February 18, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born March 25, 1935 in Forsyth County to the late Coy Lee Parrish and Annie Mae Parrish. ""Lib"" was a lifetime member of Woodland Baptist Church. She loved to work crossword puzzles and enjoyed reading. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Ricky Lee Myers; two brothers, Jake and Troy Parrish; two sisters, Sis Simmons and Louise Boaz. She is survived by one son, Coy Eugene Myers (Vicky); four grandchildren: Jordan Myers (Amy), Michelle Myers, Chris Ayers, and Angie Ayers; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Parrish; loving nephew, Mike Parrish along with several other nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Woodland Baptist Church in Winston-Salem with Rev. Tim Gammons and Rev. Vic Pyles officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
