Elizabeth Mazola Fallin Moxley, 89 of Winston Salem went home to be with her Savior on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at KBR Hospice and Palliative Care Center after a lengthy illness. She leaves to cherish her memory, her family, Huston (Katherine) Moxley of the home, William Moxley and Bridget Moxley Branch (Travis) and Chloe Ava Branch, her sisters, Fern Martin, (Mike), Agnes Bowman, (Lawrence) Brenda Dymott, Lorene Wiseman, (Gene), Ina Mae Dillard (Bob), Ernestine Haynes and Sister-in-law Ethel Fallin. Her brothers, Frank Fallin, and Wayne Fallin, (Joann) and numerous other extended family who she also loved with deep affection. She leaves also her faithful companion pup, Moriah. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Marvin H. Moxley and her Parents, Walter and Maude Fallin and Stepmother, Zula, her Sisters, Mozelle F. Goznelle and Marie F. Snow and Brothers, Jack Fallin, Norman Fallin and Edward Fallin. Mazola loved to work in her gardens before her declining health, sharing whether it was vegetables or her beautiful flowers. She delighted many with her baking whether cakes, pies or pastries. But mainly, she loved to read her Bible and talk about her Savior. She imitated the life of Jesus while on this Earth, she never saw a stranger and always put others before herself. Family Visitation will be at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway one hour prior to the funeral. The service will be held on Saturday, November 14 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mike Martin officiating. A graveside service will also be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA . The family would like to thank the Nursing Staff on 8th Floor FMC, Dr. Sinthusek, (Carla P.A.), Drs. Crowell, Peters and Sigal. Also the team at Hospice and Palliativee Care Center, a devoted family friend, Vernette Hauser and Caregivers April Miller and Naklail Melton, for all of their care, love and support. In lieu of flowers Mazola had ask for donations to be made to the Outreach Ministry of Calvary Temple, 4051 Old Lexington Road, Winston Salem, NC 27107 or All Gods Children Ministry, c/o WS First, 3730 University Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27106 or Helping Hands and Caring Hearts, Inc., P.O. Box 24012, Winston Salem, NC 27114 to help care for those in need, whether young or old, orphans or widows, the homeless or the hungry. Matthew 25:35-40. For I was hungry you gave Me food, I was thirsty you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, I was naked you clothed Me, I was sick, you visited Meâ¦I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.
