Elizabeth Amelia Harvey Jewell

Mrs. Elizabeth Amelia Harvey Jewell, 92 of Winston Salem Passed away Friday, October 12, 2012, at home surrounded by her family. She was born November 12, 1919 in Cortland County, New York to Ralph Ivan Harvey and Ruth Gardner Harvey. She was a graduate of Baptist Bible Seminary, Johnson City, NY, and spent 40 years as a missionary in Chad and Central African Republic. Mrs. Jewell is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Douglas Jewell and survived by four sons, Paul Jewell (Sandra) of Syracuse, NY, Roger Jewell (Sandra) of Factoryville, PA, Charles Jewell (Gai) of Bangui Central African Republic and Daniel Jewell (Jeanette) and a daughter Judith Jewell of Winston Salem; ten grandchildren &, ten great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Todd Bishop and Dr. Doug Couch officiating. Burial and service will be in Cincinnatus, New York.
