Mrs.Elizabeth ""Bibby"" Dunn Hemrick , 88, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Brian Center. Mrs. Hemrick was born on August 1, 1924 in Forsyth County to W.H. and Sallie Satterfield Dunn. She was a 1942 graduate of Clemmons High School. She was a lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she volunteered many hours while her health permitted. Mrs. Hemrick retired from the Department of Clinics at Bowman Gray School of Medicine after 31 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Willie May Petree, and a nephew Keith Petree. Mrs. Hemrick is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, William Hemrick; two nephews, Rick Petree and wife Sharon of Pfafftown and Charles Petree of TN; a niece, Karen Drake of Winston-Salem; a special sister-in-law, Bette H. Kiser; and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 2390 Bethel Church Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
