Elizabeth Nelle Lowe Harris

Clayton - Elizabeth ""Nelle"" Lowe Harris, died Friday, December 26, 2008 at Cary Health and Rehab Center. She was born on August 8, 1920, in Milam County, Texas, to the late Rufus Carmel and Ruby Brannock Lowe. Elizabeth retired from NC Baptist Homes after 19 years. She was a former member of First Baptist Church in Kernersville and currently a member of Bethesda Baptist Church of Clayton, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Elmore Harris, Sr. and a son, David Elmore Harris, Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Levin and son-in-law, Dr. Stephen Levin, of Clayton; a son, Sidney L. Harris and wife, Linda, of Hesperia, CA; three grandchildren, David Levin and wife, Shelley, Jonathan Levin and Sarah Levin. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory with Dr. Gary Burden officiating.
