Elizabeth Emma Guttenberger

Elizabeth Emma Guttenberger, 98, beloved mother, wife and daughter, passed away peacefully at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on November 29, 2023.  Elizabeth was born April 21, 1925 to Walter and Emma Rudelt in Queens, New York. Her husband, John, predeceased her on November 27, 2013.  Survivors include her son, John B. Guttenberger and his wife Eleanor of Dearborn, Michigan and their children, Amy and Thomas.  Also surviving are daughter Ann Guttenberger Sugg and her husband, N. Keith Sugg of Winston-Salem, and their children Philip (Maeve Hooper), David (Jaime Seno), Elizabeth Sugg (Jordan Scharping) and Alexander.  Cherished great grandchildren are Owen, Elaine, and Corinne.  The family will receive friends and celebrate her life at a memorial service from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trellis Supportive Care of Winston-Salem.
