Elizabeth Roesel Cooke

Mrs. Elizabeth Roesel Daley Cooke, 41, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born February 15, 1975 in Waynesboro, VA. Elizabeth graduated Cum Laude from Shepherd College. Elizabeth loved Mickey Mouse and was an avid sports fan, who loved the Chicago Bears, Clemson Tigers and the Baltimore Orioles. Surviving are her husband, Harold Cooke, Jr.; her parents, Margaret Mabe Daley and James Richard Daley; daughter, Tiffany Cooke; two brothers, Richard Daley and Phillip Daley and Melanie; her nieces and nephews whom she loved, R.J., Noah and Lily and her extended family members, Joseph, Ashlea, Kirsten and Angie. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Augsburg Lutheran Church with Rev. Daniel Pugh officiating. Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B.
