Elizabeth Deegan Cashen

Stokesdale - Mrs. Elizabeth Marie Cashen, 55, died Friday, April 15, 2016 at her home. Elizabeth (Beth) was born on April 14, 1961 in Decatur, Georgia to William Carter Deegan, Sr. and Gloria Loncon Deegan. Beth was a beautiful wife and loving mother. She was an extraordinary nurse and had a special love for her pets. Beth had a very gentle and humble spirit that she shared with all she met. Her compassionate and nurturing qualities touched the lives of many, personally and professionally.

Beth was preceded in death by two brothers, William Carter Deegan, Jr. and Patrick Joseph Deegan.

Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Lawrence V. Cashen, II; two daughters, Eva Christine Cashen and Kathryn Cashen Hornsby (Joseph Bryant); her parents, William and Gloria Deegan; a sister, Deborah Deegan Brady (Alan); a brother, John Edward Deegan; and countless people that were special to her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Carrollton, GA. There will be a family visitation at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the church with Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
