Elizabeth Beauchamp

Elizabeth Anne Beauchamp, 56 of Advance, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on March 11, 2023 with her brother Dean, her cousins Robin Woodruff and Cindy Huff, her uncle Clinton Ellis and her best friend Dana Wolfington by her side. She was born August 11, 1966 to Roy Beauchamp, Jr. (deceased) and Margaret (Ellis) Beauchamp. She is survived by her siblings, Carolyn Bright of Mocksville, Cathy Bright of Lincolnton, Patricia Shaw of California and Dean Beauchamp of Advance.

Elizabeth lived to serve others – in her family life and in her decades of selfless work as a nurse of 30 years. She helped both patients and their families during the worst moments of their lives, she brought cheer and warmth to the nursing homes, home care services and hospital (Novant) that employed her during her years of service.

Services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, March 17, 2023 with visitation from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service at Redland Church, IPHC 137 Baltimore Rd, Advance, NC 27006 with burial to follow the service at Bethlehem U.M.C. 321 Redland Rd, Advance, NC 27006. Rev. David Richardson, Jr. and Mr. Tim Dunn will officiate the service. The NC Nursing Honor Guard will be in attendance for the service to formally relieve Elizabeth of her nursing duties.

The family would like to thank: Dr. Barkaukas, her doctor at Duke Pulmonary, the nurses of Duke ICU, the nurses of Duke 8th Pulmonary, Novant 8th Pulmonary Care, the Palliative Care Unit and the Emergency staff for their excellent care provided during Elizabeth's illness.
