Elden Carroll

Mr. Elden Carroll, 90, of Boonville, NC died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. He was born April 20, 1923 in Laurel County, KY to Gillis William and Nancy Kidd Carroll. Mr. Carroll was a member of Bible Baptist Church and was retired from the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bea Carroll and his second wife, Rosa Lee Carroll. Surviving are two sons, David L. Carroll and Gillis W. Carroll (Shannon) all of Ocala, FL; one daughter, Brenda C. Gentry (Larry) of Boonville; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Bible Baptist Church in Clemmons with Pastor Don Jones and Pastor Ronnie Comer officiating.
