Efrain Ruiz

Efrain Velázquez passed away unexpectedly December 16, 2019.  Efrain was born in Mexico June 11, 1976.  He spent his early life in Mexico before finally settling in North Carolina.  Efrain loved life and loved his family with his whole heart.  Nothing meant more to him than his family and his absence will leave a permanent void in our hearts that can never be filled.  We will cherish the moments and memories we had with him and always hold them tight in our hearts.  His memory will live on through his two daughters, Jacquelyn (Jaci) and Jennifer (Jenni).  He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Crystal Velázquez.  He also leaves behind his mother, Felicitas Ruiz Alcala as well as four loving brothers, Martín and wife Lola, Noé and wife Reyna, Arnol and wife Leticia, and Ebodio; many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and innumerable friends and colleagues.  The family will receive friends for visitation at 10:00am on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller in Rural Hall.  Service will follow at 11:00 am at Hayworth-Miller Chapel with voluntary Catholic ceremony in Spanish as well.  Fly high and rest in power.  We will see you on the other side.
