Edythe Brogdon

Winston-Salem, NC: Brogdon: Ms. Edythe Gailes Brogdon, 84 of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, September 07, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Ms. Brogdon was born October 22, 1925 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Ervin and Cornie Fisher Gailes. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a Bookkeeper for Hicks Furniture Company in Rockingham, NC and was a Clothing Buyer for W&H Clothing Store in Rockingham for many years. In recent years, Ms Brodgon was a live in companion for shut-ins and her hobbies included, Flower Arranging, Ceramics, Doll Making and Puzzle Books. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, A. B. Brogdon. Surviving are a son; Julius (J.B.) Bradley Brogdon of Winston-Salem, a brother, Bruce Gales of Atlanta, Ga., two sisters, Bonnie Miller of Matthews, NC and Doris Faircloth of Steadman, NC. The Family will receive friends from 2:30-4:30 Wednesday, September 7, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will be in the Eastside Cemetery in Rockingham, NC, Saturday, September 11.
