Edyth Chandler Jones

WALKERTOWN- Edyth Chandler Jones, 70, passed away, Friday, July 25, 2014. She was born in Guilford County on February 18, 1944 to the late Bud Chandler, Sr. and Mamie Tilley Chandler.

Edyth loved her children and family dearly, along with her four legged friend Prissy.

In addition to her parents Edyth is preceded in death by her son Jesse Jones, Jr.

Surviving are her husband Jesse Jones Sr.; three daughters Penny Tolbert (Ronnie), Pam Friend (Kenneth), and Cindy Taplin (Ian); seven grandchildren Gray Kiger (Amy), Meghan Oleksa, Adam Kelly, Sarah Kelly, Melissa Stutts, Carson Oleksa, and Nicholas Jones; two great-grandchildren Madalyn Kiger and Noah Stutts; and one sister Gail Caviness.

A graveside service will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Gardens of Memory Walkertown in the Mausoleum Chapel. A private entombment will follow the service.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM, Monday, July 28, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
