Mr. Edwin Cecil Ludwick, 73, of Clemmons, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born May 6, 1940 in Surry County to Herman Cecil and Virginia Lawson Ludwick. Mr. Ludwick was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a member of Ken Saunders Bible Fellowship Class. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He also played in the Moravian band when he was a teenager, and walked to church as a child. Mr. Ludwick loved to spend time at the lake and being with his family. He was a very giving person. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rhoda Strickland Lawson. Surviving are his wife, Julia Ludwick; daughters, Beverly Ludwick, Teresa Neal (Ron) and Sharon Sink (Richard); grandchildren, Darrell Boles (Rene), Laura Boyd (Brad) and Emily and Anna Sink; and great grandchildren, Kendall Boles and Alexis Boyd. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Byrum officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
