Edwin Bruce Hill

Mr. Edwin Bruce Hill, 81, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the home of his granddaughter in Huntersville. He was born December 15, 1929 in Randolph County to Earl and Ina Gregory Hill. Mr. Hill retired from Sara Lee following 45 years of service. He dearly loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 60 years, Jackie Hill; his daughter, Donna Money and three brothers, Howard, Raeford and Charles Hill. Survivors include one daughter, Janice Karr; four grandchildren, Elisha Fouts and husband Doug, Telisha Curtis and husband Charlie, John Money and Matthew Money; eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Jim Hill, J. D. Hill and Ab Hill; several nieces and nephews; and three special friends, Ronnie and Mary Fox and Chessie Wilson. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Red Doty officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 16 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
