Edwin Franklin Coble

Mr. Edwin Franklin Coble, age 105, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach.  He was born December 4, 1918, in Forsyth County to the late Charles Franklin Coble and Verta Yingling Coble.  Mr. Coble was a member of New Philadelphia Moravian Church. Preceding him in death is his wife of 67 years, Kathleen Conrad Coble and a son, Richard "Rick" Coble.  Surviving is his son, James "Jim" Coble of Virginia Beach, VA.   A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 15, 2024, at New Philadelphia Moravian Church Graveyard with Rt. Rev. Sam Gray officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory may be made to New Philadelphia Moravian Church, 4440 Country Club Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
