Edward Junior Everhart

KERNERSVILLE - Edward Junior Everhart, 86, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born June 27, 1923 in Forsyth Co. to the late Edward Franklin and Mary Teague Everhart. Mr. Everhart was a WWII Navy veteran. He also was the Past Master of Masonic Lodge #11 in Swansboro, NC. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Drucilla Schronce Tapp. Surviving are his wife, Grace Hester Everhart of the home; one daughter, Linda Lambert and husband David R. ""Fuzzy""; one granddaughter, Ellen Pate and husband Ken; and one grandson, Jason Todd; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, August 28, 2009 at Canaan United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chuck Ireson and the Rev. Danny Smith officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following in the church fellowship hall.
