Mr. Edward Lee Brincefield, 81 of Winston-Salem died Thursday evening July 10, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Brincefield was born February 26, 1927 in Forsyth County, a son of the late Fred Brincefield and the late Floy Parnell Brincefield. He served in the US Navy during WW II and was a retired Auditor for McLean Trucking and Members Credit Union with 45 years of service. He was a long time member of Waughtown Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Bair Brincefield in 2007. Mr. Brincefield in survived by his daughter, Bridget LaPine and husband Ronald of Jamestown, son, Alan Brincefield of Winston-Salem, and a grandson, Taylor LaPine. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, July 14, 2008 at Waughtown Baptist Church with Rev. Joe McWethy and Rev. Mike Hamby officiating. Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive 6-8 PM Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Waughtown Baptist Church or Hospice and Palliative Care.
