Mr. Edward Francis Brennan, 78, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina passed away July 18, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Christopher J. and Mary Mulqueen Brennan. Mr. Brennan was a member and usher of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9499 and a volunteer at Forsyth Medical Center. He was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed fishing. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. Mr. Brennan was preceded in death by his son, Timothy J. Brennan and a sister, Mary Theresa Brennan. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret A. (""Peggy""); a son, Edward F. Brennan, Jr. (Cynthia); a daughter, Mary Trask (Roland, Jr.); a son, Daniel J. Brennan; two grandchildren, Roland Trask III (Karla) ;Alyson Darby Diaz (Juan); three great-grandchildren, Lilli Trask, Isabella Diaz, and Tristan Diaz; a brother, John Brennan (Stephanie); a niece, Veronica Radcliffe (Berk Thornton); He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30pm, on July 23, 2009 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Conall McHugh as Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
