Edward Lewis Barbee

Mr. Edward Lewis Barbee, 59, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Saturday April 9, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Barbee was born in Forsyth County, NC on June 7, 1951 to the late James and Ruth Barbee. Mr. Barbee spent his working career as a Printer in the Textile Industry. He was an avid golfer as long as his health permitted. Preceding Mr. Barbee in death along with his parents are two brothers, Larry and John Barbee. Surviving Mr. Barbee are his loving wife, Debra Dudley Barbee of the home; one daughter, Christie Tolbert of Winston-Salem; one son, Calvin Barbee (Missy) of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Heather Hill, Miranda Hill and Payton Barbee all of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Nancy Whittington of Winston-Salem and Kathy Motsinger of Kernersville; one brother, Gary Barbee of Clemmons. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday April 12, 2011 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. Ken Bradstock, Chaplain, officiating. A visitation will be held from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
