Mrs. Edna JoAnn Fansler Reich, 75 of Winston-Salem, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born February 19, 1934 in Forsyth County to the late Theodore and Elsie Busbee Fansler. Mrs. Reich was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church for over 38 years and had retired from Carolina Narrow Fabrics with 34 years of service. Surviving is her husband, Harry ""Gabe"" Clifton Reich of the home; one son, Harry E. Reich and wife Mary Ann of Norfolk, VA; one daughter, Beverly R. Burgess of Mebane; one brother, Wilson Fansler and wife Bonnie of Winston-Salem; four sisters, Frances King and husband Troy of King, Shirley Duncan of Salisbury; Dot Hege and Mildred Beane both of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren; one step-grandson and two great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 PM Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel by Mr. Phillip Parks. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to give special thanks to the Forsyth Medical Center 7th and 8th floors staffand Pat James, Phyllis Burton and Autumn Roels for their love and care of Mrs. Reich.
