Mrs. Edna Maude Glenn Parker, 90 of Kernersville, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on September 5, 1918 to the late Albert Glenn and Hadie Middleton Glenn Musten. Mrs. Parker loved to tell stories about the past. She was a very wise lady. She also loved to do upholstery work. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Parker; a son, Jack Keith Parker; 1 brother, Elmer Mustin and 2 sisters, Loise Glenn and Althea Rosenquist. She is survived by 1 step-son; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 2 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
