Edna Hughes Key

Mrs. Edna Hughes Key, 94, of Winston-Salem, formerly of Bowling Green, KY, died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Regency Care in Clemmons. She was born April 1, 1922 in Warren County, KY, the daughter of the late Leander and Eva Phelps Hughes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Carlon W. Key. Survivors include one daughter, Janet LaRowe and husband, Gilbert of Winston-Salem; one son, Eddie Key and wife Theresa of Seattle, WA; and two granddaughters, Ashley Jefferson and husband, Doug of Charlotte and Salem LaRowe of Raleigh. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel in Bowling Green, KY. Burial will follow in Bowling Green Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
