Edna S. Foster

Mrs. Edna Grey Sessoms Foster, 75, of Winston Salem, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Foster was born September 8, 1933 in Sampson County, NC to the late Jeffrey Rawdon Sessoms and Sarah Eliza Sessoms. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and a great friend to all that knew her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Jeffery R. Sessoms Jr. and Hubert Dee Sessoms. Surviving are her husband of 49 years Milton Harrison Foster, daughter Lynne Foster Palm, Lynne's husband Dana, and son Glenn Harrison Foster, all of Winston Salem.; grandchildren, Morgan Lindsay Palm, Danielle Grace Palm, Hunter Gray Palm, Landon Harrison Foster, and Courtney Rae Foster. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the many special friends and neighbors along with the church family of Hope Moravian Church and Hospice of Winston Salem for their love and support. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Hope Moravian Church, conducted by Rev. David Merritt.
